Astronaut Hall of Fame

How do we create a logo without clichés? My challenge was to design a logo that didn't heavily lean on an astronaut/space theme. To overcome this, I abstracted the shapes of the space shuttle and a planet, merging them to portray 'the space shuttle leaving the earth.
The resulting Astronaut Hall of Fame logo embodies an image of a spaceship departing from the planet, integrating smooth curves that symbolize NASA's dynamic movement, innovation, and futuristic perspective. It encompasses the endless curiosity and research of scientists, engineers, and the pursuit of future technological advancements, as well as humanity's exploration towards the boundless universe.
